Abyss - A Prayer For Lovers

I want to touch the Abyss in your body,
Heaven and Hell in togetherness
I want to travel inside you where I long to be,
to listen to the sounds of silence
breaking into the darkness,
as long as you and I lie in the same bed together.

I want to feel your warmth caressing me,
holding me gently to put me down to sleep
when you and I chase the Abyss away
when we become One,
embrasing the emptyness of our love,
when the night comes.

My, oh my, kindred spirit of surrender
shower me with your love and compassion,
show me the way to your heart and mind
because I want to feel you, to touch you,
to taste you like tonight is the night
when all wishes come true.

Prove me I'm wrong, prove me I'm right
manifest in me the way you make me feel complete,
take the shadows away from the Abyss
and lighten up my soul with an omnipresent epiphany,
not a shadow of a doupt whethering into thin air
of a unison that has yet to be justified as a Righteous Love.
